MANY times friends have asked us to join a network marketing group. Some have told us we should quit our day jobs because a network marketing group will get us rich quickly.
However, many of us fail to join because we are asked to pay a fee by buying a product. Network marketing is new wave sweeping across the world.
Network marketing is based on word-of-mouth advertising, which is the most effective form of advertising. Think about it; when you find a nice restaurant or hotel, you will go and tell people about it. Companies count on this but don't pay you for advertising them. In network marketing you get paid for word-of-mouth advertising by recommending a product or service and receiving money for it.
Robert Kiyosaki in his book Retire Young Retire Rich summed up network marketing saying: "It is the business school for people who like helping people".
In other words it creates training ground for people to learn to start and run a business.
Benon Kiggundu, a financial consultant, says network marketing enables you create a system which helps you make money from the time and effort you invest. Kiggundu says network marketing gives one a number of advantages.
Benefit
Communication skills: The training you'll get from having a network marketing business will give you deeper appreciation of what your employer has to deal with on a daily basis. You will also become a far better communicator, someone who really listens to and addresses the wants and needs of others.
Financial freedom: In traditional business you will never hear about financial freedom because if you become financially free, you become a threat to the organisation, compared to network marketing where financial freedom is a goal. In traditional business a person becomes financially free by creating many people who are financially broke.
Low-investment capital: It is a business in which common people can invest a small sum of money and rise to staggering levels of financial reward and personal freedom.
Personal development: In traditional business there is less emphasis on personal development; if there is, it's tilted towards supporting the growth of the organisation not an individual compared to network marketing where personal development is the major ingredient of success
Leverage: Each day millions of people report to work, where your employer leverages your time to build his or her business. The principle in network marketing is to assist others in building their businesses.
The networkers get paid for this because they are coaching and helping people to establish their businesses.
